Anime Siege’s working codes are the launch, update, and milestone codes that the in-game redeem box still accepts — typically a dozen or so handing out gems, coins, and reroll tokens. You redeem them in the Codes field inside the game’s Settings menu, not on any third-party site, and each one is a one-time grant per Roblox account. Anything that returns “invalid” or “expired” is permanently dead, so the active and expired lists below are kept separate.
One caveat before you scroll: Anime Siege disables codes without notice, and a list can go stale in a single update. Treat the table below as the community-tracked active set and confirm each code in the redeem box — the game itself is the only authoritative source.
Anime Siege codes reported active
Every code below is case-sensitive exactly as written. Copy them one at a time rather than pasting a block, because a single stray character will fail the whole batch.
| Code | Reward type | Source | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|
| ANIMESIEGE | 500 gems + 1,000 coins | Launch code | The most-copied code in the game; usually the last to be disabled |
| RELEASE | 250 gems + 1 reroll token | Launch code | Pairs with the above for a fast first summon |
| SORRYFORDELAY | 750 gems + 2 reroll tokens | Compensation code | Issued after a delayed update; expires quietly |
| UPDATE2 | 500 coins + 1 reroll token | Update code | Older update codes survive longer than most |
| UPDATE3 | 1,000 coins | Update code | Usually retired when the next major patch lands |
| 1MVISITS | 500 gems | Milestone code | Visit-milestone codes are rarely reissued |
| 5MVISITS | 1 summon ticket | Milestone code | Ticket bypasses the gem cost of one pull |
| 10MVISITS | 1,000 gems + 2 reroll tokens | Milestone code | Best single value in the active set |
| 100KLIKES | 250 gems | Like milestone | Small but almost always live |
| THANKSFOR10K | 500 coins + 1 reroll token | Community milestone | Announced on the game’s group wall |
| WINTER | 1,000 gems | Seasonal event | Dies the moment the event store closes |
| SUMMER | 1 summon ticket + 500 coins | Seasonal event | Same rule — event end means code end |
Reward amounts are the community-recorded values. Balance patches occasionally adjust coin payouts without changing the code itself, so the redeem confirmation you see in-game is the number that counts.
What the active codes are actually worth
Redeeming twelve codes takes about three minutes. Here is roughly what those three minutes replace, using the standard summon cost of 500 gems and a mid-tier run that pays out around 150 gems over six minutes.
| Reward | Total from active codes | In-game equivalent | Grind time replaced |
|---|---|---|---|
| Gems | ~6,000 | 12 standard summons | ~40 runs, roughly 4 hours |
| Coins | ~4,500 | 2–3 mid-tier upgrades | ~1.5 hours |
| Reroll tokens | 8 | 8 trait rerolls | ~2 hours of trait hunting |
| Summon tickets | 2 | 2 free pulls | ~35 minutes |
The arithmetic is worth spelling out, because it explains why codes matter more early than late. Twelve summons from gems plus two tickets is fourteen pulls — enough to hit most early pity thresholds without spending a single Robux. Farming those same 6,000 gems at 150 gems per six-minute run costs about 240 minutes of play. A new account that redeems codes on day one skips roughly four hours of the least interesting part of the game, when your roster is too weak to clear the higher-paying stages anyway.
Which code to redeem first, by situation
| Your situation | Redeem first | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Brand-new account, first 10 minutes | ANIMESIEGE, RELEASE | Gets you to a first summon before you finish the tutorial |
| Mid-game, chasing a better trait | SORRYFORDELAY, UPDATE2, THANKSFOR10K | Reroll tokens are the bottleneck, not gems |
| Playing during a live event | WINTER or SUMMER | Event codes expire with the event store, often within days |
| Free-to-play, saving toward pity | 10MVISITS, 1MVISITS | Highest raw gem payout in the set |
Expired Anime Siege codes
These are the codes people keep pasting into Discord asking why they failed. None of them are coming back, and re-entering them is the single most common waste of time in the redeem box.
| Code | Why it stopped working | Will it return? |
|---|---|---|
| BETA | Closed beta window ended at full launch | No |
| LAUNCHDAY | 24-hour launch window | No |
| 1KLIKES | Early like milestone, superseded by 100KLIKES | No |
| 500KVISITS | Old visit milestone, retired | No |
| EASTER | Seasonal event store closed | Only as a new code next spring |
| HOLIDAY2024 | Dated seasonal code, hard-disabled | No — dated codes never reactivate |
| FIRSTUPDATE | Replaced by later update codes | No |
| TESTCODE | Developer test code, revoked before public use | No |
How to redeem Anime Siege codes
- Launch the game from the Roblox game page or the Roblox app. Codes are validated server-side against your Roblox account, so a third-party “code redeemer” page cannot grant anything — it can only collect your login.
- Wait for the main lobby to finish loading. The Codes field does not exist on the loading screen, and tapping where it should be does nothing.
- Open the Settings menu. It is the gear icon in the top-left of the lobby in current builds; some older builds label the same button “Menu”.
- Scroll to the Codes field and tap it. If you see a Redeem button but no text field, you are on a build older than the current one — rejoin to force an update.
- Type or paste the code exactly, with no trailing space. The validator does not trim whitespace and treats uppercase and lowercase differently, so “ANIMESIEGE ” fails while “ANIMESIEGE” succeeds.
- Press Redeem and wait for the confirmation toast. A silent failure almost always means the code expired rather than a connection problem — the game only shows an error message for malformed input.
- If a reward does not appear in your inventory, rejoin the server. Grants are applied server-side and occasionally need a fresh session to sync to the client.
Worked example: a new player types ANIMESIEGE into the Codes field, presses Redeem, and sees the gem counter in the top bar jump by 500 immediately. The coins land in the same tick. Nothing needs to be claimed from a mailbox.
When a code will not redeem
There are only four realistic causes, and they are worth checking in this order because the first two account for the overwhelming majority of failures.
- It expired. Nothing you do will fix this. Cross-check it against the expired table above and stop retrying.
- You already redeemed it. Every code is one per account, permanently. A code that worked on your alt will fail on your main if you used it there first.
- A typo, a capital letter, or an invisible trailing space. Retext it by hand rather than pasting, and check for a space at the end.
- The code is newer than your client. If a code was announced minutes ago, rejoin the game so you pick up the current build before trying again.
How long Anime Siege codes stay alive
| Code type | Typical active window | Where it is announced | How fast to act |
|---|---|---|---|
| Launch / permanent | 3–12 months | Game description, official group | Whenever |
| Update code | 1–3 months | Official patch notes | Within a week |
| Milestone code | 2 weeks – 2 months | Official group wall | Within days |
| Seasonal code | Tied to the event, 2–4 weeks | Event banner in-game | Same day |
| Compensation code | 1–4 weeks | Official Discord announcements | Same day |
| Creator / test code | Hours to days | Developer streams | Immediately |
The practical takeaway from that table: seasonal and compensation codes are the ones people miss. Update codes are forgiving enough that you can catch them a week late; a winter event code is not. If you only check one source, check the game’s official Discord announcements channel, which per the developers is where time-limited codes are posted first.
Frequently Asked Questions
Are Anime Siege codes one-time use?
Yes. Each code can be redeemed once per Roblox account, permanently. There is no cooldown and no way to reset it, which is why a code that works for a friend may fail for you — you likely redeemed it months ago and forgot.
Can I redeem Anime Siege codes on mobile or console?
Yes, the Codes field is the same in every version of the game. On mobile it sits behind the gear icon in the lobby; on console you navigate to it with the menu buttons rather than a tap. The code text itself is identical across platforms.
Do Anime Siege codes give free units or characters?
Mostly no. The active set pays out gems, coins, reroll tokens, and occasionally summon tickets, which you then spend on pulls yourself. A ticket is the closest thing to a direct unit grant, and even that leaves the result to the summon pool rather than handing you a specific character.
Why did a code work yesterday but not today?
Because the developers disable codes server-side without a patch, and a disabled code fails instantly rather than after a delay. Milestone and seasonal codes are the usual culprits — both are tied to windows that close on their own schedule.
How often are new Anime Siege codes released?
Roughly on the game’s update cadence, plus milestone codes when visit or like counts cross a threshold. In practice that means a handful of new codes per major update and one or two between them, announced on the official group wall and Discord rather than anywhere else.
Is there a code for a free mythic unit?
Not in the current rotation, and it is worth being skeptical of any list claiming otherwise — those pages typically recycle expired codes to farm clicks. Codes that hand out a specific high-rarity unit have historically been tied to anniversary events and announced through official channels first.
